To meet users' requirements for the voltage quality, the Company can also provide the on-load tap changer dry-type transformer that is composed of the transformer body and the on-load tap changer. The transformer and the switch are placed face to face by keeping a distance of 250-300mm. They are fixed separately in normal cases. The switch is in a cabinet shape. Its dimensions do not change as the capacity of the transformer changes. Vacuum switch is adopted. The product can regulate the output voltage under the loaded condition. The voltage can be regulated manually and automatically. The manual voltage regulation means that the voltage can be regulated to a certain value artificially within the tapping scope of the product. Automatic voltage regulation means the automatic voltage regulator is regulated to a small scope within the tapping scope of the product (usually referring to a certain value required by the electric equipment). When the output voltage of the product exceeds this scope (e.g. the change in the voltage of the power supply or the load causes secondary voltage changes), the automatic voltage regulator will emit signals automatically, so that the on-load tap changer can automatically regulate the secondary voltage into the original voltage scope required originally.
SCB dry-type transformer usually adopts natural air cooling and may also be installed with a cooling fan according to requirements of the user. The temperature control system is composed of the cooling fan and the temperature controller. This system detects and controls the temperature via the measuring element embedded in the product. When the transformer runs, the temperature controller will perform cyclic detection of temperatures of each part and display the temperature data and may display a high temperature of only one part. The cooling fan put into operation and its enabling time can be determined by setting specific temperature spots. When the temperature of the transformer exceeds the setting value due to a fault or overloaded running, the temperature controller will automatically send the fan startup signal to cool down the transformer compulsorily. If the temperature keeps rising to another setting value, the temperature controller will send the corresponding alarm and tripping signals. In addition, the temperature control function can be added at the request of the user, and the temperature control function can link with the microcomputer to realize microcomputer management. The temperature controller is usually installed onto the main frame or the housing (products with a housing), the temperature controller can be installed in the duty room with a certain distance (within 100m) from the main frame.
This series of products can be configured with a fan at the request of the user to perform compulsory air cooling.
There are two types of fans: cross flow fan and curtain fan. The fan can be started manually or automatically. In the manual mode, the fan can be started no matter the temperature of the transformer is high or low. In the automatic mode, when the transformer temperature reaches 100℃ (or other setting values), the fan will be started to cool down the transformer, and the fan will stop working when the temperature reaches 80℃ (or other setting values).
SCB dry-type transformer is designed for users. This product can be configured with a housing at the request of the user. There are two protection levels: I P20 and I P23. I P20 housing can prevent solid matters whose diameter is greater than 12mm from entering the transformer to protect the live parts. Except for the functions of the I P20 housing, I P23 housing can also prevent water drops that form an included angle smaller than 60° with the vertical line from entering into the transformer. The Company can provide types of housings like the aluminum alloy housing, stainless steel housing and ordinary coated steel plate housing.
